Saving up for that perfect ring can be so rewarding

As we have previously documented in this site, many couples decide to conduct the engagement proposal before the ring itself has actually been purchased.

There are many reasons for this, the most common of which is the fact that they do not have the required amount of money to buy the ring which they want. This is a very important point, and one which is critical in our understanding of engagement rings.

There are many couples who reject this and settle for second best, just because the ring is cheaper and they can therefore purchase it pretty much straight away. In fact some couple rush out to the shops as soon as they can following the proposal and look to come away with that perfect engagement ring. Well the reality of the matter is that this is probably not going to happen. Sure you may come back with an engagement ring, but the perfect one?

The notion of saving up between you and then buying an engagement ring which is everything you could have hoped for is one which is symbolic in itself. It shows commitment and love which will yield the greatest of rewards. Further to this it is recommended to a far greater degree than buying a ring straight away without thinking about it.
