With the growing number of seasonal parties which are now occurring, many people are letting their hair down and enjoying the start of the festive season.
For many people, this involves the consumption of rather large amounts of alcohol which can last until well in to the night. There is nothing wrong with this and is how many people celebrate the festive season. However, there are one or two words of warning which need to be mentioned in regard to this. In this article we consider the presentation of engagement rings and proposals of marriage.
Just because it is the festive season, does not mean that all the advice and guidance which we have given you throughout the year is invalid. In fact in many respects it is exemplified during this time.
Proposing whilst under the influence is never a good idea, firstly because the sincere nature of this can be compromised. Secondly, it could seem that the alcohol is eliciting feelings which whilst sober are not really there and this can lead to questions whether you actually meant this.
Finally, you want to remember the proposal in remarkable clarity and alcohol can definitely blur this. Make sure that you create memories to last a lifetime and consider the timing of your proposal carefully.

As part of the festive season’s celebrations, many people have gatherings within their own homes – whether this be small parties or themed events. As a result diamond jewellery parties can be a particular favourite.
We have already documented some of the main pointers in regard to these, however with the party season about to get in to full swing it will be useful to provide some additional information.
First of all, all diamond jewellery should be represented within these events. Stating that the gathering will focus on diamond necklaces or diamond earrings may be confining the scope of the occasion somewhat.
Secondly, it is a great idea to talk about the history of the items rather than just comparing the items. This sound not be a fashion competition as it may well put some people off attending the event. It is much better to appreciate the symbolic side of the items as well as the aesthetic value of them.
Thirdly, be careful with your jewellery and ensure the safety of them at all times. This may mean putting them in safe storage as the night progresses and it is very much worthwhile taking a container to place your treasured items in where they are safe.
Finally, go to the event with an open heart and an open mind – be interested in other people’s reflections as well as your own as this can provide you with a great deal of inspiration which may well manifest itself in the future.

One of the most memorable events which you will experience is the presentation of an eternity band from your partner. This not only embraces all the memories of the past but also reconfirms the commitment between the couple for the future. Many people do not present the eternity ring to their partner until quite a long period of time has passed following their wedding ceremony. There is no requirements that you do leave it a large amount of time before presenting this wonderful item but sometimes it can be the best way to proceed.
This is due to the fact that if there is a good deal of history between the two people then the ring will have more to reflect upon as soon as it is presented. This will increase it’s symbolic value right from the first day and you will feel almost like a new chapter of your life is about to begin.
In essence however, the eternity ring symbolises the continuation of your relationship and the reconfirmation of your future commitments. Therefore there can be no right or wrong time for this to presented and as Christmas approaches, you may consider this to be your perfect gift.
