Make sure your special items are insured before going to University!
by Niamh ~ August 15th, 2008. Filed under: Hints and Tips.Last Thursday saw the latest A level results being released and as a result thousands of people will now be looking forward to University life.
Typically this will start either in September or early October and brings with it a great deal of excitement and anticipation. With this in mind it is important that you are organised and make sure that you remember to perform all those jobs which need to be done before you back your bags ready for the next stage in your life.
One of the most important aspects of this preparation is to ensure that all of your possessions are insured. This is particularly the case if you plan to take diamond necklaces or diamond earrings to University with you. If you own any diamond jewellery then you will no doubt be eager to take these with you and wear them at all the lavish parties which make up Fresher’s Week.
However before you do this, do make sure that they are insured for your own piece of mind. If the items have already been insured, then it is important that you check whether or not they will be covered at your University address as some policies are different to others.
