Let music give you the confidence you need

Many people get very nervous when it comes to the engagement proposal and seek ways in which they can minimise this when the event actually comes around. The most widely known method of course is taking of some Dutch courage, however we have published articles on this site recently which would suggest that this may not always be the best idea.

One great way of doing this as well as helping you to create a romantic atmosphere is to have music playing in the background. Really this has to be something which you both like and has some symbolic meaning for you. This can almost certainly create a relaxed atmosphere for you and one which will dilute your nerves.

This is a much better way than taking an excessive amount of Dutch courage as it not only helps with your own nerves but it also helps to create a romantic setting.

The trick is to not play the music too loud, but loud enough for you to be able to hear it. This will be enough to banish all those nerves as the engagement ring is presented and make the event a memorable and successful one.

Now all you need to do is pick the songs!
