Keep your jewellery safe when engaged in sports

Some people worry about their jewellery when playing sports and do not really know what to do with it. They can feel rather nervous about leaving their prized possessions within a locker or somewhere within the sporting location.

This is understandable but what is the best thing to do with your items? By far the best idea in this situation is to leave your jewellery at home in a safe and secure place. This way you will have that piece of mind that your items will be safe until your return.

The next best idea is to place them in a soft tissue or cotton wool and put them in your purse or wallet. This conceals the items as well as keeps them safe. Make sure that your locker is secure and this should be adequate until your return – if you have any doubts about the secure nature of the locker then move to another one for your own piece of mind.

Finally, under no circumstances cover them up with a plaster whilst keeping them on your person athletes and sportspeople have been seen to do this but this is placing your ring in great danger in terms of scratching and abrasion.
