Investing in a manicure before your wedding can give you so much confidence!
by Niamh ~ April 30th, 2008. Filed under: Wedding Rings. In addition to your wedding ring, the photographs which are generated during your special day will provide you with a lasting reminder of the commitment which you have made.
As part of these photographs, the wedding rings will take an integral place, both in their giving and also in the “showing off” phase following the ceremony.
It is therefore important that before the big day, both the bride and the groom think about investing in a very simple manicure. This can be self conducted or professionally done for a relatively inexpensive cost.
The advantage in doing this is that the fingernails will be perfectly shaped and cleaned for those all important photos. In addition, any hard skin which is present on the hand will be smoothed out, giving you the confidence to pose for those close up snaps of your wedding ring.
During the wedding, it is common for several photographs to be taken of the ring itself. Some of these are independent from the couple, and are placed on items such as the wedding invitations, or on top of a prayer book or Bible. Others however involve the ring actually being worn – examples of this include photographs of signing the marriage book, cutting the cake or indeed simply just a shot of the beholder’s hand. Many of the photographs which are taken are spontaneous and it is important therefore, that you are not inhibited by the condition of your hands.
This may seem a rather simple recommendation, yet the confidence which this will give you during your big day will make it all worth while!
