Further advice on Eternity Bands
by Rob ~ August 16th, 2008. Filed under: Eternity Bands.Previously we have looked at the symbolism of eternity bands and the fact that these are becoming increasingly popular particularly within later life.
They reconfirm everything which was declared within the wedding ceremony after life has thrown pretty much everything it can do at the couple and they have come through it unscathed.
In situations like this, the symbolism and dedication which the eternity band embodies will be intensely personal between two people. As a result therefore, it can only really be the couple who can mark this. We have heard a couple of stories recently where close friends or family members have bought eternity bands to mark the symbolism of other people’s relationships.
Although this is a lovely thought, it is really something which should be confined to the couple themselves, no matter how close to them you are. They are the ones who know exactly where the relationship has been and are therefore able to shape its future.
You could perhaps plant the idea of an eternity band into the minds of the couple, although under no circumstances would we advise that you invest in one of these precious gifts to mark somebody else’s relationship.
