Despite the advanced level of technology which we are blessed with today, it is a sad fact of reality that we often lose contact with old friends and family.

If you think about your school days, I can guarantee that there are people out there who you wish that you were still in contact with but have sadly drifted apart from.

Weddings are a wonderful way to be reunited with your long lost friends who you have so much to catch up on. They will no doubt have much to tell you as well as have showing off your engagement ring but how do you go on about finding your long lost friends.

First of all subscribe to social networking sites which are always a good start to finding people who you have lost contact with. This is a fairly simple process and could yield large rewards.

Secondly many local papers have announcement columns where you can add notice of your engagement. This will of course spread the word effectively around your local area and may well be all which is needed for you to be reunited.

So if there is someone who you would like to be at your wedding but you have lost contact with, then don’t give up hope but do make sure you start work on finding them in plenty of time.
