In today’s society a growing number of people are choosing to relive some of the magic of their wedding day by renewing their vows.

This can be a magical and symbolic event which is full of romance and sincerity for all concerned.

There is no set time when you could or should renew your vows, and there is no limit on the amount of times which you can do this.

You will be presented with a “Record of Ceremony” after the event to mark the occasion, although your original wedding certificate will not be changed to reflect this.

There are many reasons for wanting to renew your wedding vows – one of the most common is for people who were married abroad, or your relationship has withstood some testing times over the recent past and you have come through it all.

Obviously people do not purchase an additional wedding ring for the event, as the symbolism of the original ring remains constant. However, it is common that the couple invest in eternity bands which symbolise their renewed commitment to each other. These then almost become as symbolic as the original ring, and the magic of the original wedding day is relived.

There is no formal requirement that you must renew your vows, but for many people it is a wonderful way to show the world that your commitment and devotion to each other remains strong.
