What is Diamond Compare?

DiamondCompare.co.uk is the first price comparison site designed specifically for jewellery. We aim to be a one-stop-shop for those researching and looking to buy their jewellery online.

You can search for pieces of jewellery by using our search engine and compare products side by side. We have lots of informative articles, news and a forum where you can ask questions, discuss and exchange ideas with others. You can also save your favourite items for viewing later or send them to a friend.

Please note, Diamond Compare does not sell any products, we simply list products from online retailers.

What can Diamond Compare do for me?

Diamond Compare can help you find exactly what you are looking for at a price that’s right for you. You can browse through our extensive archive of articles for hints and tips on how to buy that special piece of jewellery. Please feel free to post a question or read through our forums.

You can also use our specially designed search engine to look through thousands of products from online retailers and compare them side by side.

Why not use a general price comparison site?

General price comparison sites offer thousands of different products in hundreds of different categories, from Digital Cameras to Toasters.

However, Diamond Compare is a niche comparison site which means that we concentrate only on jewellery and jewellery retailers.

This means we spend more time and effort helping you find that all important piece of jewellery. Our whole site is dedicated to jewellery, giving it the attention it deserves.

How do I know I’m getting the best deal?

Diamond Compare is a completely impartial price comparison site. Unlike other sites we do not offer a bidding service, where retailers can bid for a higher position on our site.

With Diamond Compare, you decide the search criteria and you decide the order of the listings. By default and for your convenience, prices will be listed with the lowest price first.

With Diamond Compare you can openly ask other visitors about their shopping experiences and which stores they recommend. They may also be able to help you bag a bargain!

How much does it cost me?

Use of Diamond Compare is absolutely free. There is no charge for any of our services so please feel free to use them as much as you want.

Why buy online?

Buying jewellery online is becoming extremely popular simply because of the amount of choice and the huge savings that can be achieved through buying online. You can search thousands of designs and styles from the comfort of your own home and save up to 50% off high street prices.

With retailers having secure payment and delivery facilities, many people are buying jewellery more often and more easily with the internet.

How does Diamond Compare make money from the site?

We gain revenue from advertising banners placed on the site, but we try and keep these to a minimum and to the sides of the website so it doesn’t interrupt your browsing.

We also charge retailers a fee based on (CPC) cost per click through to their website. It is a flat rate for all products and for all retailers so no single retailer can outbid another.

How do I get more information or place and order?

As Diamond Compare does not sell any products itself, if you want more information than is given on the site, or if you want to place an order, simply click on the product and you will be redirected to the retailer’s website. You will be able to place an order or ask any specific questions about the product from there.

Why register an account with Diamond Compare?

By registering on our website you will be provided your personal account which you can use to save preferred searches. Searching for the right jewellery can be time consuming; however registering with us saves you the hassle of trying to remember which jewellery items and designs you liked. You also have the option of forwarding your preferences to your friends email account if you would like them to have a look. Registering for an account is completely free, so do take advantage of this added benefit.

I’m having problems signing into my account.

If you’re having trouble remembering your password, simply click on the Forgotten Password link and enter your email address you first used to register onto the site. Your password will be sent to your email account.

A product I saw on diamond compare is not there anymore, what do I do?

We apologize if a piece of jewellery you like is not available anymore. But we cannot guarantee our retailers product listings to be completely up to date. However, we would appreciate it if you could inform us if this ever occurs by emailing us on info@diamondcompare.co.uk and we shall inform the retailers regarding this issue and have it resolved.
